We took the girls to the Fall Festival at church today. This marks our third year, but the first year that Emmy has really gotten to be involved. We started her off in a bounce house. She LOVED it, so much in fact that she refused to come out. Wynn had to go in and drag her out the first time. I had to the second time. At least we were able to provide our standard comedic entertainment that only The Netherland Traveling Circus can provide.

I asked Rea to pose in the bounce house and this is what I got. She’s so funny!

We went simple, but cute with Emmy’s face paint.

Ms. Debbie was kind enough to paint Rea’s face today. Rea asked for a black cat to match the one on her Halloween shirt.

Rea’s favorite had to be the giant inflatable slide. I think she did it at least 3 times, and would have done it more if the line hadn’t stayed so long.

Forget the candy. Forget the prizes. All Emmy wanted was to get in the little duck pond.

You can’t be supergirl and not fly!

Rea LOVES her costume this year! She’s very excited to get to wear it to school tomorrow for the Halloween party.

This was the best one I got of Emmy today. I was exhausted by the time the whole thing was over.

There’s no guessing how Emmy feels about her costume. I need to pull out Rea’s leopard costume from a couple years ago. I’m sure it will fit, and maybe she will like it a little better.
