she’s got personality!

There’s no denying Rea’s personality when I get her in the studio.
There’s no denying Rea’s personality when I get her in the studio.
Rea helped me try out my new backdrop that I’ll be using for my fall preschool photos today. She loved getting to try on the sweaters and hats as part of our little photo shoot.
The weather was finally a little cooler and we had a nice breeze this morning. The girls and I went outside to play off a little energy. Rea wanted the beach ball in the trampoline with them, but that quickly turned into a game of knocking down Emmy. At least, Emmy thought it was funny.
I just can’t resist blogging this. Emmy has been running a really high fever the last couple days. She threw up yesterday, and this evening after dinner she suddenly got that “I’m about to hurl” look. I was talking to Nana on the phone, so I told her that I thought Emmy was about to throw up and had to go. I immediately starting covering up Emmy with a towel to catch whatever I could. Rea leans forward and says, “I want to watch. Wait for it….Wait for it….”
How do you not laugh at that? I don’t know where Rea comes up with half the stuff she comes up with. She is so funny!
Rea was so excited about starting school this morning. She picked out her clothes and told me exactly what she wanted in her lunch…all the way down to a brownie with colored sprinkles…purple sprinkles.
She barely stopped long enough to give me a goodbye kiss at school. She’s frog #2 this year, and she’s sitting between two of her friends from last year. She’s going to have such a great year! I can’t wait to pick her up this afternoon and here all about her first day.
Here’s a little glimpse back at her first day of preschool last year.
Rea discovered baseball and tic-tac-toe while we were at Jeni’s this weekend. She had so much fun, she didn’t want to leave. I don’t blame her…I didn’t either.
Don’t let this pic fool you. She is quite the little baseball player. Wynn got her a wiffle ball bat and balls today. They’ve already been to the park to practice this evening.
I was looking back thru our beach photos, and decided I had to post this one too.
I just thought this one was so cute. She just looks so happy and content to be sitting in the water.
Rea was so excited to get to go to the beach. When we were leaving she asked if we could go back tomorrow. I’m so glad she had the chance to stick her little toes in the sand and run thru the water. It was such a fun little adventure today.
