Rea and I made out a summer wish list when school let out in June. Having a Bingo Party was on the list. Thanks to all our friends (both mine and hers) who were a part of it!
This is a quick pic I grabbed right before all our guests arrived. We had such a great morning. The kids were all so excited by the cupcakes that we ate first. Then we played about 5 games of Bingo. Since we had several little brothers and sisters with us this morning, I decided it would be best to use mini marshmallows for our bingo chips instead of the cardboard circles. That idea was a HUGE hit with all the kiddos. I swear they were eating them as fast as they were putting them on their cards.

Emmy really enjoyed sitting on the dock while Reagan fished. Here she is watching a plane that flew over us.

Hello fishie was almost good bye fishing pole. She got so excited that she almost let go of it. Wynn was quick on the draw and made sure she didn’t lose it. This was her first fish of the day. She’s “caught” fish before but I think this was the first official one that she got all on her own. Maybe it’s because of the special princess pole that Pops bought her.

Rea had a great time fishing today. She caught so many that we lost count. As soon as her hook would go in the water, she’d get a bite and real in another one.

Here’s Rea posing while Wynn baits her hook.

Wynn’s mom made this hat for Rea. It didn’t quite turn out as planned, but the girls absolutely love it. I think it’s great. I think everyone but Wynn as worn it at this point. Even Nana and Pops have tried it on for size. Thanks GranMimi…it’s been a big hit, and Emmy certainly seems to share Rea’s love of hats.

We took the girls to SnipIts for haircuts a couple weeks ago, but I just wasn’t happy with how they cut Emmy’s bangs. I took her to my salon this morning for a quick bang trim. Now we can see the cute little face that’s been hiding underneath all that hair. She’s so cute!!!

After I told Rea to get her feet off the top of Emmy’s head, she decided to go with the classic bunny ears instead.

Yesterday was a rainy, stormy day. I didn’t want to get out with the girls, so I waited until Emmy’s nap time. Wynn was working in the office, and Rea was doing computer games in the living room. When I got home, almost every light was on in the house. Wynn told me the power had gone out while I was gone. Once Rea lost computer power, she ran to Wynn and declared, “the house is out of batteries!” He told her she was just going to have to wait until the power came back on, but she wasn’t convinced. She went to every room flipping the light switch to see if that room had power.

All I can say is they get it honest.
They’re gathered around the laptop doing Disney games. Couple years and we should be able to start our very own tech support company. HaHa!
