swing me!

swing me!

We took Emmy to the baby swings today. She seemed to really like, even though she wasn’t quite sure what was happening. Reagan loved it, because she kept trying to push Emmy.

Emmy was giving me the biggest smiles today. The only problem was she was running at the camera the whole time, so I couldn’t get a good photo. She sure did have fun though. :)

I was coloring in the floor with the girls this afternoon until the girls both had to have the same coloring book at the same time. Rea quickly grabbed it and retreated to the safety of the kitchen table. :)

happy birthday daddy!

I had grand visions of a photo of Wynn with the girls today.  The day had other plans.  Wynn had a rough day at work.  The A/C decided since it was the first time we hit 90 this year that it would be a great day to die on us.  Then to cap off the day, Emmy decided to throw up all over the carpet (and we’re not talking a little spot, we’re talking at least a 8 foot trail).

Wynn did love his gift and I cooked one of Wynn’s favorite meals for him.  So, at the least the day did have some high notes.  :)

"keep your kids in their seats"

Chris and Connor invited Wynn and Rea to a Frisco Rough Riders baseball game. This was Rea’s first baseball game. Wynn said she loved it, so much in fact that it was hard for her to sit still. The attendant even asked the guys to make the kids sit down…he obviously doesn’t have a 3 year old at home. :)

Apparently got a little creative with her cap. Wynn called it her ‘rally cap.” Go Rough Riders!

the shiner

We started our Houston weekend off at Jim and Wendy’s last night. We got to meet the twins, who are so cute! We got to visit with Jim, Wendy and Robyn. The girls got to play with Ben and Brooke. And, Emmy got to leave with this lovely black eye after going face first into the coffee table. Poor baby!

Rea loves to pick flowers, so of course that means Jeni doesn’t have as many flowers now. Jeni tucked this one behind Rea’s ear for a cute photo. Love it! She looks like she’s on a tropical island…and I tell you it rained enough and flooded enough, that it felt like an island. :)

Rea could not resist wearing Jeni’s polka dot rain boots. I just may have to get her a pair of cute rain boots for her birthday. :)

Emmy just wasn’t sure about the reflectors in the street. She kept trying to pick them up to play with them.
