I got moves

I got moves

Reagan loves to act out little skits in front of the mirror. I thought she was asleep for the night, but she got up a few minutes ago to go the bathroom. Wynn went up to check on her and this is what he found. He sure was quick on the draw with the camera phone. :)

Rea was still running a low fever this morning, so she couldn’t go to school. She’s been feeling a little cooped up, and we needed diapers, so we made a quick WalMart run. Rea nevers gets to ride Pumba, because I never has quarters. Today, I did. She loved it! I think it did her good to get some fresh air. We’ve also played Disney Bingo for prizes; Wynn even played with us for a few minutes. Now, we’re baking oatmeal cookies. Who says sick days can’t be fun? :)

They’re not going to both fit in the laundry basket for much longer. They sure are having fun while it lasts though. :)

Waiting on the doc

Waiting on the doc

We had Emmy’s 15 month check up this morning. She got her usual glowing report. Not to brag, but the doctor did say that “she’s perfect.” Emmy is 34″ tall and 31 lbs, so of course she’s still off the charts. She’s still running neck and neck with Rea. Rea was 34 3/4″ and 30 lbs 10 oz at her 15 month checkup. Basketball anyone? :)

Look out!!!

Look out!!!

We did a shopping marathon this morning…Target, Kroger and WalMart. We have bad weather coming tomorrow and I have to take Emmy for her 15 month checkup, so we did all our shopping today. Here the girls are riding in a car buggy at Kroger. They loved it! It had little horns that honked and everything. When we got back out to the car, Rea yelled, “that was awesome!” Emmy was none too pleased to be getting out; I guess she’ll be on the look out for car buggies now too. :)

I gave Rea a popsicle this afternoon. The next thing I know Rea is holding it out for Emmy to have a bite. So cute!!!

little dirt dobbers

little dirt dobbers

What is it with kids and dirt? I mean forget the trampoline, forget the play house, forget the toys. All you need is a bucket, a shovel and yard full of dirt. Luckily for our girls, the grass only grows in about half our yard. Just watch out for all the little holes. :)

the m&m

When I called Emmy’s name this afternoon to look up at me, she said “cheese.” She must have learned it from Rea. I’m not sure where Rea got it. I try to never say “cheese” when taking pictures, because I don’t like the “cheesy” grin you get. I guess it won’t be a problem, since Emmy doesn’t grin a whole lot. :)

This is becoming Rea’s standard pose. :)

Erin and I took the kids to Disney on Ice yesterday. They loved it, and I have to admit that Erin and I did too. Here the kids are posing with the MIckey and Minnie dolls that Erin got for them. Thanks Erin! :)
