We could not get Rea to smile for this photo for anything, but look at Emmy. She was happy. I think it was the special trick or treat back that GranMimi made for her. The girls have the best bags ever. We got a few compliments on them tonight. Thanks GranMimi!

Rea seemed to love the scary houses the most. By the end of the night, there were only two that she was a little scared of. That’s the only two times she let daddy walk her to the door.

I love it! She’s the cutest candy corn I’ve ever seen.

You can see that Emmy really worked hard for her candy. She’s all kicked back enjoying a nice tall bottle of milk.
OH!!! I have to blog that Emmy took her first step right before we went trick or treating!!!! It was so exciting. She took a step and a half to Wynn. Way to go M&M!

Here’s Rea checking out all her candy from tonight. Believe it or not, her favorite thing was the glow stick and ghost stamp. She did enjoy a cup of milk and two treats before bed. She had so much fun tonight. She’s already asked to do it again.

We’ve finally made it to the big day. Cinderella has been perfecting her “trick or treat” and ‘thank you” for weeks now. Candy Corn isn’t sure what all the fuss is about, but is willing to go along and check things out. We can’t wait to take the girls trick or treating this evening…it’s going to be Spooktacular!

Emmy fell asleep on the way to the party. She slept a good 30-40 minutes. All the moms were impressed that she could sleep thru all the noise and kids running around every where. When she woke up the first thing she did was yank that pumpkin hat off.

Rea had her Halloween Party at school today. I was asked to take photos of all the kids, so I didn’t get many photos of my girls. All the kids made foam photo frames, so they’ll be putting their photos in them next week. Here’s Rea posing in front of the fall tree at school. By the time it was her turn, she had taken down her hair, lost her headband, wand and slippers, and had two big rips in the dress. Looks like I’ve got to pull out the old sewing machine tonight.

We were so busy this past weekend that we never made it to the pumpkin patch for photos. Wynn blocked out some time this morning. We were going to go do photos of the girls and then have a nice family lunch at a cafe in Aubrey. The pumpkin patch turned out to be a disaster, and we ended up home before lunch. They had some pretty displays but had every one of them roped off so you couldn’t take photos. We’ll have to find another pumpkin patch for next year, because we won’t be going back to this one.

Even though the pumpkin patch was lacking, it didn’t take Rea long to pick out a pumpkin to take home.
