see my tongue?

see my tongue?

Emmy loves to stick her tongue out and make little motorboat sounds. She’s way too tall for the leap frog these days, but sometimes she just needs to be contained. :) This was her yesterday while Wynn and I were setting up my studio lighting for a photo session I had.

boat riding and boat driving

boat riding and boat driving

This is one of my favorite photos from the trip, even though it’s just a tad out of focus. I love the excitement on Rea’s face. She was born to be on the water. She loved the wind in her hair, and really, really loved getting to drive the boat with Pops.

early morning on the water

early morning on the water

You just can’t beat being on the water early in the morning. You might be sleepy and it might be cold, but it’s so beautiful. I love it!

first catch

first catch

Rea caught her 1st fish this morning! She loved it! She’s going to be quite the little fishing partner for Pops from now on…I think I just got replaced. :)

diva on the water

Rea loves her accessories, even out on the lake. I love the “serious, don’t bother me, I’m fishing” look. :)

beware of alligators

beware of alligators

This is the sign at the boat ramp. I had to have a picture of Rea in front of it. :)

spongebob bandaid

spongebob bandaid

This photo has nothing to do with camping or fishing, but I love it so here it is. Rea broke the nose piece off her glasses and it had rubbed a little spot on her nose. A small spongebob bandaid did the trick while we were away from civilization. We’re getting them fixed first thing in the morning.

fishing with nana & pops

fishing with nana & pops

Nana & Pops are camping at White Cliffs in Western Arkansas. They invited Rea and I over to camp and fish. We went over yesterday and got back this evening. We had the BEST time. I think Nana and Pops soaked up every second the had with Reagan. I felt honored just being there and getting to watch and take photos of them together. You can tell from this picture what proud grandparents they are. They’re already talking about the day when Emmy’s old enough to go camping too. :)

no room for tootsie

no room for tootsie

My favorite part of this picture is the look on Emerson’s face. Priceless! Tootsie just couldn’t catch a break today. First she got evicted from her bed, then one of the new tenants decided to eat right in front her. :)

Emmy has been into everything today. She climbed on top of the toy box, she climbed all the way to the landing on the stairs, she tried to climb up onto the couch, and she crawled into Tootsie’s bed. Once she got in Tootsie’s bed, she sat up and smiled.
