welcome home “dada”!

Wynn got back from Phoenix late last night. The girls were so excited to see him this morning. Emmy was so excited in fact that she said “dada” for the first time. Of course, she waited until he was in the shower to say it. She must have said it at least 10 times before he got downstairs. After a little encouragement, she finally said it to him. Welcome home “dada.” We’re glad you’re back.

Swim class seems to be a lot more fun when you have a buddy. It was so cute to walk up to the pool and hear Connor yell, “ReaRea!” and come running towards us. They had a great time this morning. Rea has picked up right where she left off after the first set of lessons, and Connor is doing great. He’s a little more timid than Rea, but I think it’s helping a lot that he has her in the class with him. :)

a look into the future

a look into the future

I can only imagine what Rea’s teenage years are going to be like. :)

so cute!

so cute!

I think Rea is so cute when she wears her hair up. She really liked this style this morning, so hopefully she will leave it up for a little while.

knee; hand; knee; hand…emmy’s crawling

Emmy’s crawling!!! It’s little tiny short bursts, but she’s finally putting all the motions together. She’ll go one or two moves forward then stop and sit straight up. It won’t be long before she’ll see something she wants across the room and off she’ll go. Hopefully, she’ll wait till Wynn gets home before she does that. I don’t want him to miss it. :)

hi there…

hi there...

Emmy and Archer hung out together while Rea and Connor had class. At one point, Erin pointed out that they were sitting there holding hands. How cute is that? And, I have to point out Emmy’s little red head shining in the sunlight. Pappaw will be so proud! :)

reagan bang!

reagan bang!

Rea had her first day of her second round of swim lessons this morning. She was very excited about it, especially since Connor is in her class this time. Unfortunately, the teacher was 15 minutes late this morning, so Rea was pretty keyed up by the time she got there. She was jumping around so much that she bonked her head on the handrail. She quickly recovered and got to be the first one to go out for a little swim lap. Rea has the same teacher this time, and of course she remembered Rea. We get to make up our 15 minutes tomorrow, so Rea will be excited to have extra swim time tomorrow. :)

what can tylenol do for you?

what can tylenol do for you?

Poor baby has felt pretty rotten the last couple days. She’s had the hardest time falling asleep. She’s been running a fever off and on. She has a tough time taking her tylenol, but when she can keep it down she always drifts off to sleep afterward.

the wave

Emmy can wave now! It’s so cute to see her little hand go up and wave at you. Wynn was walking thru the living room earlier, and I told him to watch. I got her to wave at him. He cheered really loudly for her, which scared her, so then she sat there crying until he picked her up and made up with her. She’s very sensitive to loud noises. I can’t vaccuum with her in the house, and Wynn had quite the experience this weekend when he took her with him and went to the drive thru carwash. Let’s just say, he won’t be doing that again. :)

exhaustion

Oh what a night. We were up and down all night long with both girls. If one of them wasn’t throwing up the other one was. They both seem to be feeling a little better this morning. Emmy’s on the floor playing; I’m just hoping she keeps her milk down this time. Reagan’s on the couch cuddled up on my blanket and pillow. I think she’s really enjoying the “getting waited on” part of being sick. Wouldn’t it be great if the stars would align this afternoon and all 4 of us get to take a nap?
