It’s so hard to get one of my girls to look at me, much less get both of them to look at me at the same time. I thought this one was cute anyway. Emmy was figuring out how to pull her hat off…two seconds later and it was around her neck.
Never one to be upstaged or left out, Reagan gave me this little face while I was taking Emmy’s photos.
I’ve been meaning to do Emmy’s 6 month photos for a couple weeks. First, she was sick; then, we went to Sea World. She really wasn’t in the mood today, but I still got a few good ones anyway. I’ll probably try a couple more times to get everything I want, but I’d say we’re off to a good or at least funny start. I also found a great garden in Weatherford that we’re going to go to this weekend to do photos of both girls. That will be fun! I much prefer photographing outside too. 
That’s our girl! I took photos of Rea in this dress in the bluebonnets just before her first birthday. It was always one of my favorite dresses, so I’m glad I got to see it on Emmy too.
Finally. Finally. Finally. Emmy slept thru the night. And, she fell asleep on her own to boot…no rocking, no bottle, nothing. You just can’t beat that.
The other photo was cute, but this one is really cute. Emerson’s latest trick is to stick her tongue out at you. It’s so funny when she gets to jumping in her leap frog and sticking her tongue out at the same time. She can jump so hard, she’ll look like she’s about to jump out of it.
She looks like she’s calling out for someone, but she’s really just pulling on her ear because her teeth were hurting. I just thought it was cute.
We are so excited. We just signed Rea up for preschool starting this fall. Rea’s dance teacher Miss Mariah is opening a private preschool, and we are fortunate enough to get Rea a spot. We all just love Miss Mariah, and I think it will really help Rea already knowing her. She’ll be going Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-2.
Rea’s already been asking about school, so I think the timing will be perfect. Sometimes during the day she puts on a little pack back and plays school at her little princess table in the kitchen.
Can’t you just see Reagan running into her class with her little ponytail, back pack and sack lunch.
Emerson was so tired from not napping, that by the end of our pool time, she was sacked out on a beach towel.
