walking with pops

walking with pops

Pops always loved to push Rea in a stroller, so he couldn’t resist taking Emmy for a little stroll.  Of course, Rea was not about to let them go without her.  Pops even let Rea push the stroller for a little while.  She loved it!

i love it outside

i love it outside

If Emmy ever gets fussy, all you have to do is take her outside.  Rea went through a similar phase.  Rea still loves the outside, so hopefully Emmy will too as she gets older.  I can already picture them running and playing together.  smile

leap toad

leap toad

Rea could not resist Emerson’s leap frog yesterday.  I had to pull her out of it twice.  She just couldn’t believe that she was too big.  smile

secret agent rea rea

Nana gave Rea a juice box this afternoon, and Rea quickly proclaimed that she “likes her juice boxes shaken, not stirred! “ I think that means she’s watched The Backyardigans Super Spy one too many times.  smile

the abominable snow reagan

the abominable snow reagan

My Aunt Ann had a huge box of hand-me-down clothes for Reagan.  Nana was showing me everything, and Rea fell in love with this furry, white coat.  She calls it her “snow coat.” It was all we could do to get her to take it off so we could run our errands.

hanging out with my nana

hanging out with my nana

Emmy had been using Nana’s arm as a chew toy, but stopped long enough to pose for a picture.

We are getting so close to Emmy cutting a tooth.  Today we’re out of bibs and already had to change Emmy’s clothes because of the drool.

who knew “blue” was a flavor

who knew "blue" was a flavor

I can’t come to Crossett in the summer and not get a snocone.  When we pulled up, I asked Rea what flavor she wanted.  She immediately answered, “BLUE!” I had to go up to the counter and ask the lady what flavors they had that were blue.  It came down to Blueberry or Bubble Gum.  She recommended bubble gum.  I’m not sure how excited Rea was about the flavor, but she LOVED the color.

After trying mine, I think she’ll be ordering Ice Cream flavor like her mama next time.  smile

the emmygator diaper roll

When it comes to rolling, Emmy sure could give a baby alligator a run for his money.  Diaper changes have turned into wrestling matches.  I bet I had to roll her back over at least 10 times at 5:30 this morning when I was changing her diaper.  I was exhausted by the time I got the new diaper on her, and the funny part was Emmy rolled her bottom lip out and acted like she was the one who had just been put through the ringer.  smile

stacked up

stacked up

I just couldn’t resist taking this picture.  Seeing these little stacked up feet while Emmy slept was such a welcomed scene today.  It took for-ever to get her down for her afternoon nap today.

broken record

I have officially became a broken record.  Wait that dates me…I’ve officially become a scratched cd.  smile My favorite phrases to repeat are “no, you can not have another spongebob fruit snack,” “stop jumping on the furniture,” “I am not a coaster…go put that up,” and the classic “I said put that in the trash!” smile
