shake your stinger

shake your stinger

If there’s any part of the dance routine that I don’t have to worry about Rea forgetting it’s “shake your stinger.” smile

I had Rea in the studio this afternoon so I could get my sample photos done and ordered for the dance photo shoots next week.  During all my “now look at me and smile,” I managed to get this little gem.

i’m all the buzz

i'm all the buzz

Rea got her bumble bee costume for her dance recital today.  It is so cute.  All the girls got to try them on, and they all started buzzing around the dance floor like crazy.  Her dance recital is coming up in a just a few weeks, and we still have a lot of work to do on her routine.  Next week should be a lot of fun.  I’ll be taking all the dance photos for all the dance classes.  Wish me luck!

I thought this was so cute.  I was able to get this photo after I had taken off Rea’s bumble bee costume.  She was down to just her skivvies, but I just loved the little innocent look on her face and her hair pulled up.

i fell over!

i fell over!

I had Emmy sitting up on the couch so I could take a few pictures today.  I got a great one of her smiling really big then she started to slide and ended up like this.  She was not happy about it either.  As soon as I set her back up she was fine.  She actually sat up on her own for a little bit yesterday.  I haven’t had a chance to take a photo of her sitting up on her own, because Wynn hasn’t been able to be my spotter in case she starts to fall over too fast.  Maybe tomorrow.

Baby feet are just too cute!

bouncy ball

bouncy ball

All the way home yesterday, Rea asked if she could have her new bouncy ball.  We told her she could have it as soon as she got home, and I swear the second that first toe hit the tile in the kitchen, Rea said, “I want my bouncy ball.” We unpacked and blew it up for her and she bounced from one end of the house to the other and from top to bottom.  She even called Uncle Tracy to thank him she was having so much fun.  She’s been bouncing all morning today.  She’s even blurred in this picture because she wouldn’t sit still on it long enough for a decent snapshot.

nana, pops and the grandkids

nana, pops and the grandkids

Since it’s not often that all 4 grandkids are together at one time, I tried to get some photos of them with Nana and Pops before we all left Sunday morning.  No one was interested of course.  It was all we could do just to get Rea on the couch, and poor little Emmy looks shell-shocked.

Since Uncle Tracy, Aunt Kristy and the boys won’t be able to make it to Rea’s birthday party Saturday, they let her open her presents early.  Here she is sporting her new cowgirl hat and marshal badge.  She also got a Toy story color-wonder pad and bouncy ball.

the funny foursome

the funny foursome

It wasn’t easy to get these 4 to all sit on the couch together.  Once we got them all on there together, it was impossible to get them all to look at me and smile together.  Matthew’s the only one that’s got it down, but he’s hiding behind Emmy.  Oh well, better luck next time.  smile

three stooges

three stooges

Reagan and Emerson finally got to spend several days with their cousins while we were all in town for Granny’s funeral.  They played and played and played, but they did stop long enough at least once to watch an episode of Spongebob together.  Aren’t they cute?
