This is just one of the many reasons why Rea loves going to Nana’s house. Where else can you “sled” indoors? Rea loves for Nana to pull her around on her wood floors. She squeals in delight as Nana pulls her all over the house.

Blink and you’ll miss it, but Emerson had the tiniest little fauxhawk after her bath tonight. The picture doesn’t do it justice…it was cute.

when I throw up it comes out my nose. Emmy had a burp go horribly wrong tonight. You’d have thought someone turned a hose on us. It shot out her mouth and nose, and we were both covered by the time it was over. Rea thought it was hilarious! Of course I had just put Emmy in her pajamas. I got us both changed and the laundry going and went back to Emmy’s bed to get her. She looked at me, and the little bugger laughed. She seemed to be quite proud of herself. Maybe that was just her way of saying she didn’t like the pajamas I had picked out and wanted to sleep in her little sleep sack instead of the footed ones that are getting too small.

I caught Wynn snuggling with Emerson this evening after dinner. She’s a good little snuggler!

I’m very pleased to say that Emerson slept from 11:30p to 4:15a last night. I’m sure that sounds like nothing to most people, but around here it’s amazing! I’m hoping that it will be the start of a trend and not just one fluke night. It took us months to get to that point when Reagan was a baby. I would LOVE for those 2:00-3:00a feedings to be behind us.

Reagan’s answer: Spiderman because he’s the greatest!
I swear she’s obsessed. I can just see it now…her begging for a Spiderman birthday party this year and/or begging to be Spiderman for Halloween. I’m really starting to think that I need to introduce her to Wonder Woman.

Our neighbors bought this little bright pink and navy hooded bodysuit for Emerson. I always put her in bright pink socks when she wears it. Wynn and I call it her “oompa loompa” outfit. She’s super cute in it, but as you can tell by the look on her face it isn’t exactly one of her favorites.

Rea discovered chocolate pudding this week. Today she went with just a simple chocolate mustache. The other day she had the full goatee. The funny thing is she didn’t even want to try the pudding when she saw it on her plate the first time. We coaxed her into taking a bite, and then with a mouth full said, “it’s goood.”

Just before bedtime tonight, we had a knock on the door and it was Uncle Chris with a 5 ft Spiderman for Rea. She was excited but not quite sure what to think at first. Then she wanted to watch the movie. We let her play with him for a couple minutes and then made her go to bed, but she wouldn’t go without him. He had to brush his teeth when she did, he had to say his prayers with her, and then Wynn had to tuck them both into bed. Now I have to put the gate up tonight when we go to bed so she won’t break her neck trying to bring him downstairs in the morning.

Rea took on the task of styling her hair this morning while I was getting Emmy dressed for the day. This was the result. Wynn came upstairs to check on us and burst out laughing as soon as he saw her. He said I had to take a picture, so he ran downstairs and grabbed my camera for me. Unfortunately the batteries in my mounted on flash had died, so I had to use the built in direct flash. There was no way to avoid the glare on her glasses that way, but the hair is still pretty funny.
