porta-potty

We all do little things as parents that make our lives easier, but that we know will mortify our children with embarrassment when they’re older and find out about it. This is one of Reagan’s… We traveled to NW Arkansas for the weekend. Since we’re in the middle of potty training we packed Reagan’s little potty to take with us, because we didn’t want to lose any momentum. Well, it turns out Reagan is terrified right now of public bathrooms. She’s never liked them, but now we’re talking full on hysterics. So, what did we do? Opened up the back of the Yukon, sat her on her potty and gave her a chance to go. We stopped at gas stations, fast food places and even on the side of the road when the impulse struck her. I really should of taken a picture, but I wanted to preserve her dignity…just a little. Anyway, I’m sure we’ve made several people between Aubrey, TX and Mountain Home, AR laugh. ![]()

So I have to tell you…Reagan shouldn’t be mortified later. We had a port a potty on every trip we went on as kids and we all used it!!!
