just being cute

I just thought this one was cute. She was getting tired and just wanted to be held because she wasn’t ready to get out of the pool yet.
I just thought this one was cute. She was getting tired and just wanted to be held because she wasn’t ready to get out of the pool yet.
Reagan found a pair of goggles at the pool, and just had to try them on for herself. She called them her glasses.
Reagan loves the water. She had a lot of fun letting Wynn hold her hands and pull her across the pool. She really thought she was doing something.
This is Reagan yelling at Wynn because she panicked and became convinced that he tried to drown her. He was holding her from behind and her face got a little low in the water, and since she couldn’t see him, she got mad. It didn’t last for long though.
We were invited over to the Orenders to go swimming this afternoon. Rea got to try out her new floaty swimsuit. We had to squeeze her into it since we bought it at the end of the summer last year, but she was so cute. She looked like a little pink cork bobbing up and down in the water.
I was resting on the couch this morning while Rea was coloring. Usually she colors in the middle of the living room so I can keep an eye on her. Well this morning she decided to color behind the couch, out of eye sight. She’s always done well with coloring so I thought no big deal…right??? Well, I got up and found that she had colored two kitchen tiles bright orange. I look at her, and she looks at me. I said, “oh, that’s a no, no; we don’t color the floor. You’re going to have to clean that up.” She looks just a little less proud of herself and says, “ok.” I get her a magic eraser and a paper towel, and she got to scrubbing. It was cute to watch, but I think she had more fun cleaning it up than coloring it in the first place.
This was one of Rea’s wayward moments during dance class today, but it made for the most adorable photo. The dance instructor saw me with the camera and Rea at the bar for a split second, and even asked if I got the shot. I feel like a stalker with the camera, but when I get a photo like this one, all the sneaking around and lurking is well worth it.
What can I say except “be afraid, be very afraid.”
Rea had her second day of dance class today. She really likes it. She did much better this week. She’s still a little all over the place, but she did a lot better on her participation and direction following. One thing hasn’t changed…she’s still the “little comedian” of the class.
We introduced Rea to the wonderful world of play doh today. She had so much fun. Wynn found her the cutest little Mr. potato head play doh set at Wal-Mart yesterday. She loved getting to add all the body parts to the blob of play doh. She actually set at the table for an hour and a half this afternoon. We ended up having to make her put it up, so we could go to the store. One guess what she’s going to want to play with first thing in the morning.
We bought Rea some mega bloks today. As you can see from her puppy creation, she is quite amazing at building with them. Ok, ok…so maybe I gave her a little help. The main thing is we had so much fun building it together. I think her favorite part was getting to demolish him as soon as I took the last picture. Oh well, at least we get to build him again tomorrow. ![]()
