gone fishin’

gone fishin'

Pops and I went fishing this morning.  We had so much fun!  This is us showing off our catch.  Note I’m having to use my foot to keep Reagan away from the fish.  This was Rea’s first time to see a real fish.  She kept saying “fish” and “pops” over and over.  I guess she didn’t believe I caught some too.  smile

This is another photo from our little zoo outing on Saturday.  I’ve laughed every time I’ve looked at it, so I thought I’d go ahead and post it today.

i wanna hold your hand

Most of the day at the zoo, Rea would run a little piece ahead of Wynn, but when she came to the point on the boardwalk where it started it’s decline, she stopped and reached up and took Wynn’s hand.  It was a cute little moment.

standing like mama

standing like mama

I finally have documented proof that Reagan has inherited something from me.  I have a bad habit of standing with my foot kinda kicked out to the side.  Most of the time I don’t even realize I’m doing it, but I’ve done it since I was a little girl.  We were at the zoo today and Wynn said “quick, look at her foot.” I quickly snapped the picture.  So, she may look exactly like Wynn, but she stands like me.  smile

feeding the goats

feeding the goats

Reagan loved feeding the goats at the zoo today.  She thought they were so funny.  We missed the daily giraffe feeding today…I bet Reagan would have really loved that.  At least we have something to look forward to the next time we go.

am I turtley enough for the turtle club???

We needed some fresh air today, so we took Reagan to the Gainesville Zoo.  She had so much fun.  This is Wynn holding her up to get a better view of the turtles.  She was determined to climb in there with them.  Just before the turtles, we saw giraffes, emus and zebras.  Rea watched one zebra fall and roll around in the dirt.  She was so cute, as soon as the zebra dropped to the ground, she hollered out, “you ok?”

pretty in pink

Well…Reagan tried to color Tootsie pink today.  I guess it’s all part of “color everything in sight” phase.  Of course, Tootsie tried to eat the pink crayon during the whole ordeal.  Maybe that explains the case of the missing crayons from the other day.

On a side note, Reagan is quickly picking up new words.  Wynn learned this the hard way the other day when Reagan overheard him say “you suck” to our friend Chris.  I come around the corner to hear Reagan yell, “I suck!” It was very hard not to laugh!

Rea had so much fun at the park today.  She discovered a pile of leaves and kicked and kicked until they were all scattered.  At least she’s over her “leaf fear” she seemed to have last fall.

This was Reagan as she continued to entertain her GranMimi and her Poppy.  We’re all really enjoying them being here.  Reagan and Tootsie are certainly providing nonstop quality entertainment.

these boots are made for walking

Reagan just had to try out Poppy’s boots this afternoon.  Wynn helped her get them on.  She just stood there not moving, so I asked her, “can you walk or are you stuck?” She immediately yells out, “TUCK!!!” We all laughed so hard.  smile
