Reagan is really starting to like her new glasses. She actually cried tonight when I had to take them off and put her to bed.

We tried out a new park this afternoon. This one has these cute little ride on toys that are on huge springs, so they rock back and forth. Rea had so much fun. She would ride for awhile then jump off and run around only to hurry back and jump back on the toy.
She’s done fantastic with her glasses today. We are so proud of her!
We picked up Rea’s new glasses today. She’s cute as a bug! She’s not crazy about them yet, so we’re in for a rough couple weeks while we get her used to them. I’m even wearing my glasses for moral support. ![]()
I know once she figures out that she can see better with them on, she’ll never want to take them off…we’ve just got to work hard to get to that point, but we’ll get there.
Our new neighborhood has parks all over it. Today we found one that has the little baby swings, so we let Rea try them out. It took her a minute to get the hang of it, but by the end she really seemed to like it.
Wynn and I had to go to Home Depot today, and we finally had a chance to put Rea in one of the race car buggies. She had so much fun. She “drove” us all over the store, but did not want to get out when it was time to go. She’s never going to want to go back to regular old buggies now.
Well, I have good news and bad news. Rea and Tootsie have finally managed to work together as a team, but the bad news it was a marshmallow stealing team.
I was making rice krispie treats when they sprang into action. I turned around to see a little hand reach up and grab the leftover bag of marshmallows. Then there was a Reagan and Tootsie shaped streak that ran into the living room. Of course I was at a stage where I couldn’t leave the kitchen. By the time I was able to go check on them, Rea had managed to take the clip off the bag and snap it back together, and the two of them were sitting on the floor elbow deep in mini marshmallows. ![]()
Wynn took this a couple nights ago when Rea wasn’t feeling very well. She’s almost always a mama’s girl, but there’s no doubt about it when she’s sick. Tootsie is never one to be left out, so she piled up with us on the couch too. I love my girls!
Reagan is nothing if not dramatic. This was her response to me making her put down a stick she found on the ground.
Reagan’s GranMimi made her this adorable pink poncho. She loves it! She doesn’t want to take it off. She had worn it all evening yesterday and it was time to change her into her pajamas. She cried as soon as I took it off, so I had to hurry and get her pajamas on her and put the poncho back on. She was so cute running around in her pajamas and poncho.
Well, we finally took Rea to get her hair cut. Nana and Pops are here visiting, so they got to go with us. Let’s just say, it was an experience that none of us will soon forget. She hated the whole process…from the getting it wet, to the cutting, all the way to the blow dry at the end. Wynn had the job of holding her still, while I got to just watch and take photos. I got several funny photos. All involving screams of some sort. This one is my favorite. It was quite an ordeal, but she’s got the cutest little haircut now.
