Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

It’s hard to believe that this will be our second year of trick-or-treating with Rea.  This year she’s going as a goldfish.

I know she’s going to have so much fun this year.  She loves her costume, and she’s big into knocking on doors right now.  After trick-or-treating, we’re going over to a friend’s house for dinner.  So we should be in for a lot of fun tonight.  I’ll try and post some trick-or-treating photos later tonight.

three little pumpkins

three little pumpkins

This is Rea with her two friends, Ben and Brooke.  I really wish we had taken a video camera with us this morning.  All three of them..well, ok, just mine…wouldn’t sit still for anything.  smile

I wish I had dressed Rea in a black shirt too.  I guess I’m still not over doing that last year, and everyone thinking she was a little boy.

Wynn and I are going to attempt the pumpkin patch one last time this coming weekend.  Please, wish us luck.  smile

We took Rea to the pumpkin patch this morning.  This was one of only a couple photos that turned out worth anything.  Reagan ended up throwing a huge fit and we had to leave.  Oh well, maybe we can try again next weekend.

everybody jump, jump

everybody jump, jump

Wynn taught Reagan how to jump earlier this week.  We’ve been practicing all week.  This afternoon we took her outside to play and I was able to get this photo of a jump in action.

shoxx and shoose

That’s Reagan for socks and shoes.  smile She’s been able to say shoes for awhile now, but within the last week or so she’s figured out socks too.  She also knows that when the “shoxx and shoose” come out, it’s time to go “buh bye.” I have a feeling we’re really about to see a huge increase in her vocabulary.  Our major words in progress right now are, cracker, cheese and cookie.  Sometimes she gets them, sometimes she don’t.  Either way it’s always cute to hear her interpretations.

sweet little Rea

sweet little Rea

This is Reagan after another failed attempt at putting a bow in her hair.  I’m just happy she let me brush it out of her eyes.  At least, we’re getting closer and closer to being able to tuck it behind her ears.  And, I’m still not giving up on the bow.  smile

two peas in a pod

two peas in a pod

Could these two be any cuter???  Wynn was all laid back in the chair watching a movie when Rea climbed up on him and snuggled up to watch it to.  I had to put a pillow behind her head to make sure she was extra comfy.  I’m so proud of my little family!

put ‘em up…put ‘em up

put 'em up...put 'em up

Reagan was really quiet in the kitchen today, so of course I knew she was going to come running out with something.  All of the sudden, she rounds the corner wearing my boxing glove pot holder.  She was very proud of herself to say the least.

watching a movie

watching a movie

This is Reagan’s “don’t bother me; I’m watching a movie” face.  She’s in the middle of her Shrek and Shrek 2 phase right now.  Another big favorite is Monster’s, Inc.

can’t stop laughing

can't stop laughing

I wish I could remember what I did to get Reagan laughing so hard today.  She’s so funny when she really gets tickled.

She finally cut one of her I-teeth.  Woohoo!!! Only three more I-teeth to go, then we’re off to the final set of molars.
