that smile!!!

that smile!!!

Reagan has a bit of an underbite. Lately, she’s learned how to exaggerate it for emphasis. She has a “happy smile”, and an “I’m so excited I can hardly stand it smile.” Any guesses as to which one this is?

Reagan loves to play with the french doors to Wynn’s office. She likes to go out and press her face up against the glass and make faces at us. I think somehow she knew that I had just windexed all the glass. smile

Just a little fun playtime with Daddy. Reagan thought it was so funny for Wynn to walk around the room on his shoulders.

Say Cheese!!!

Say Cheese!!!

This looks like the perfect passport or driver’s license photo.

I told Wynn she’s wearing an outfit today that we bought a long time ago. I think I got it when she was around 9 mos. It’s a size 24 mos. When she first started wearing it, the bottoms were pant length. We’ve since passed cropped pant length and are clearly in capri pant length now. With the rate she’s growing, I bet we’ll be at bermuda short length in a few months. smile

Wynn’s probably going to have Reagan “coding” before long. She loves to be right in the middle of things…whether she needs to be or not.

Ace Ventura, Baby Detective

Ace Ventura, Baby Detective

This photo was just too funny not to post! Jeni and Dani were over for girls night, so we took Rea up for a photo shoot. She had a fit when we turned on the fan and pointed it at her. She really thought she was a model. She kept trying to flip her hair in the “wind.” I managed to get this shot. Wynn thought it looked like Ace Ventura, thus the title. smile

Lake Netherland

Lake Netherland

We had a nasty storm come thru this afternoon. Within about 45 minutes the cul-de-sac in front of our house had turned into a lake. The water was up past the sidewalks on both sides and was up our drive way about a foot or so. Wynn and I have been talking a lot lately about how nice it would be to have a lake house. At least now we know what it would look like. smile

all caught up

all caught up

This made me laugh. Wynn took Reagan for a diaper change before her nap, and when they came out from the bedroom, Rea had the entire back of her dress caught up in the top of her diaper. She came running out and everything looked fine, but then she kept running by me, and all I could see was a little diaper butt. How embarrassing! smile I guess it could be worse; she could have had a long piece of toilet paper stuck to one foot.

Rea’s hair is such a pretty color.  The funny thing is how much the lighting affects the color.  As you can see, she’s quite the little copperop while sitting in the kitchen.  It’s a lot more brown in the living room.  I would say her hair is more auburn than "red."  Either way, you wouldnt believe how many people stop us to say how pretty her hair color is.

Plus, as Wynn and I have learned,  nothing stops the coppertop.  smile

Dad-dy…oh my!!!

Reagan is usually very, very clingy to me in the mornings when she first wakes up.  Most mornings I have to hold her the whole time I’m getting her breakfast ready.  Today Wynn happened to still be home, so he helped me get everything ready.  I sat Rea on the counter and wrapped one arm around her while I did the food part.  Meantime, Wynn was busy opening a new jug of milk.  As soon as he pulled off the safety seal, he sat the jug down beside Reagan.  The jug was so full milk spilled on the counter.  Reagan looked down at the milk then up at Wynn and said, "Dad-dy…oh my!"  It was so funny that Wynn and I burst out laughing.  Then Rea started laughing.  She was so proud of herself for being funny.  I have a feeling that she is going to be quite the comedian.
