Reagan had another great day at school today. I’m so glad that she’s so happy at her new school.
She and Emmy enjoyed a little after school snack of popcorn and M&Ms. Emmy fell asleep shortly after I snapped this pic.

The girls love to get to have the special treat of watching a movie in my bed. Emmy usually goes to her room once she gets sleepy, but tonight she completely sacked out at the end of the bed. Reagan told me, “mama, Emmy’s alseep. Can you come get her? She’s bothering me.”
Reagan really looks “bothered.”

Wynn’s been out of town for a few days, and the girls and I have been busy with school, cheer and errands. I wanted to stay in tonight. I thought a pizza picnic in the living room would be fun. The girls loved it! I bet they’re going to want to do this again.

Since it’s girls’ night, I picked up a couple of Redbox movies for us. The girls watch one while we were eating dinner. They were completely distracted by it. I don’t think they said a single word to me other than to ask for more pizza.

Emmy had her own drink, but she would steal a sip of mine any time she thought I wasn’t looking.

Reagan has no problem mugging for the camera.

Reagan has to have a water bottle w/ a spout to keep in her cubby at school.
Most water bottles that are cute are on the pricey side. I ran to WalMart this morning and found this little bottle for 97 cents.
I did not want to just write “Reagan” across it with a sharpie, so… a little fabric, a little sewing and a little glue later, and I have a cute one of kind water bottle.
Reagan LOVES it!

and I quote, “No one sat next to me at lunch today. I think I’m losing my touch.”

I just discovered that my pb&j eating kid sat at the “allergic to peanuts” table at lunch today because “I don’t like peanuts.”
The “your sandwich can kill them” talk was immediately following said discovery.
I do believe I have successfully scared her away from EV-ER doing that again.
I’m mortified!

Wynn and I weren’t sure what to expect when picking Rea up from her first day of school. I can assure you of all the things we imagined…giant orange headband was NOT one of them.
This was her tag to match her to our car tag number. It was hilarious. You could spot the kindergartners from a mile away.
My best friend Jeni told me to email her to tell her about Reagan’s first day of school. Here’s what I wrote:
Here’s Reagan’s take on her first day:
“It’s hard.”
“There are A…LOT of rules!”
“I don’t remember.”
“I made a new friend.”
“Mrs. Jackson is really nice.”
Personal favorite…she has ruled out ever eating in the cafeteria because she saw “pickle spear” on the lunch menu for tomorrow.
You can’t help but love her.
